FED: Three questioned over extortion attempts
Police say detectives are questioning three people in Brisbane over the long-running
extortion attempt against the makers of Herron paracetamol tablets and Panadol.
Police say officers raided a number of houses in Brisbane earlier today and have more
than 30 potential witnesses still to interview.
Crime Agencies Chief Superintendent ROD HARVEY says three people in Brisbane are assisting
police with their inquiries.
He also anticipates more people will be interviewed as part of today's operation.
He says police believe the extortionist responsible for the offences against Panadol
and the Queensland pharmaceutical company, Herron, is the same person.
