NSW: New minister Kelly to attend firefighters' graduation
The new NSW Emergency Services Minister, TONY KELLY, is today attending the graduationceremony of 20 new firefighters in Sydney.
In his first official ministerial appearance, Mr KELLY will welcome the new recruitsinto the state's force of 3,090 permanent firefighters at the NSW Fire Brigades trainingcollege in Alexandria.
Mr KELLY says like these recruits, he's looking forward to the challenges of a newjob and will be working closely with the front line firefighters to keep NSW families,homes and businesses safe.
